I’m the founder of Monarch Media Strategies, a full service communications agency that combines tried-and-true methods with emerging technologies.

After 20 years as a broadcast journalist and in house communications strategist, I help clients connect with their targeted audiences- wherever they’re at.

To date, I’ve done paid communications work for 27 federally elected officials, many Fortune 500 executive teams, and even 50 nationally recognized Girl Scouts, to help them deliver their message in the most effective ways possible.

 

Writing, Editing, and Coaching

I’ve spent nearly a decade leading trainings and teaching the fundamental skills of writing and editing. As an adjunct professor in the George Washington University’s Strategic Public Relations Program, I know how to bring out the best in team members at every level.

 

Branding

I led all communications, marketing and branding as Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for the political startup Run for Something, as one of the original employees. I've learned how to use strategic campaigns to move the ball forward and make complex ideas universal and actionable.
